In her spare time, Tami enjoys traveling and taking photographs
wherever her journeys lead her, especially Europe, Southeast
Asia, and Latin America. She is an avid salsa dancer and
particularly loves Miami and photographing dancers in
South Beach. One of her favorite ongoing projects is photographing
Ricardo Lemvo and Makina Loca (a salsa group) when they
stop in San Francisco. She's also photographed the Argentinean
dancers from Forever Tango at the Theatre on the Square
and flamenco dancers in Spain. Tami explores her color
work in these settings by using flash and slow shutter
speed to capture movement.
